German manufacturer Adidas has warned that new tariffs imposed by the Trump administration could force the company to raise prices in the US, estimating a €200m cost increase in the second half of 2025. Adidas shares fell 11%, with CEO Bjorn Gulden voicing concerns about consumer reaction to the price hike. Although Adidas will maintain prices on popular models, new products will be affected. Tariffs of 20% on exports from Vietnam and 19% from Indonesia significantly affect costs, but Adidas remains committed to the US market.
