Alexandru Nazare: 2 billion euros were obtained following the meetings in the USA for energy and infrastructure

The Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare, detailed on Monday the results of his visit to the USA, where Romania secured funding of 2 billion euros.

The visit included meetings with international financial institutions, investors, and rating agencies, as well as representatives of the American administration. Among the notable achievements are nearly 1 billion euros for the modernization of Reactor 1 at Cernavodă and 495 million euros for the modernization of natural gas networks. Additionally, discussions focused on strategic projects such as Black Sea A.I. Gigafactory.

Nazare emphasized that Romania must remain a stable and predictable partner to attract investments and implement strategic projects.
