A 32-year-old Romanian was arrested in Italy for armed robbery at a gas station, together with an Italian accomplice.

A 32-year-old Romanian citizen was arrested in Italy, along with a 36-year-old Italian accomplice, being accused of armed robbery at a gas station in Massarosa, province of Lucca. The two threatened the station manager with a gun and stole over 2,000 euros. The Carabinieri conducted a detailed investigation, analyzing surveillance video recordings and reconstructing the movements of the criminals before and after the crime was committed.

They were also accused of using stolen goods, using a stolen car and scooter to commit the robbery. The evidence collected, including the recovery of the weapon and the clothes worn, was decisive for issuing the arrest warrants. The Romanian is also suspected of another robbery in a residence in the municipality of Massarosa.
