A 42-year-old Romanian, employed by a courier company, risks up to five years in prison after stealing a family's cat from Manchester. The incident was captured by surveillance cameras, which filmed the man while he was delivering a package and taking the cat from the owners' yard.

After the footage was posted online by the cat's owner, named Nora, the Romanian contacted the family to discuss the animal. In the United Kingdom, stealing a pet is considered a serious crime, and the penalties for such acts are harsher than for the theft of material goods. This situation has sparked a wave of reactions within the community, highlighting the importance of protecting pets.
