On Saturday evening, an alarming incident took place in the Favoriten district of Vienna, where a 25-year-old Romanian man entered a bar and threatened the customers with death, wielding an axe.

The conflict erupted after the young man declared himself disturbed by the frequent behavior of the customers, who were making noise and throwing trash on his window sill. He claimed that the loud music and noisy conversations had become unbearable, and the mocking from the customers contributed to his growing frustration.

On the evening of the incident, the man crossed the street and entered the bar with the axe, causing panic among the customers. The bar owner immediately alerted the police, who quickly intervened and subdued the suspect without any injuries being reported. The axe was confiscated as evidence, and the man was detained and taken for questioning, admitting that his actions were driven by repeated conflicts with the customers.

Austrian authorities are now investigating his actions for serious threats and public disorder, also examining any previous complaints related to noise in the area.
