On February 13, the Italian police discovered 23 Moldovan citizens, including 8 children aged between 8 and 16 years, illegally employed in an industrial warehouse. It appeared to be the headquarters of a production enterprise, but the working conditions were unsanitary and without protection.

All employees were without work contracts. Following the raid, a 30-year-old Moldovan was arrested for illegal re-entry into the country, and a 23-year-old Romanian owner was accused of illegal mediation and labor exploitation. The warehouse was sealed, and the fines imposed exceeded 100,000 euros. The minors and their parents were handed over to Social Services, while the other Moldovans will be assisted in regularizing their status or expelled.
