A PressOne investigation reveals that a neo-Nazi group, Unitatea 731, is recruiting young Romanians on Telegram, mostly high school students, to commit violence, vandalizations and drug trafficking. The group's leader, Nichita Popescu, promotes a points-based reward system for violent actions. The group incites hatred against minorities and uses online recruitment techniques, including physical meetings to accomplish 'tasks'. The public prosecutor's office cannot confirm this information, invoking the presumption of innocence.
