Raul Timisag, a 21-year-old student from Suceava, drowned in DeLong Lake in Anchorage, Alaska, during a paddleboarding session. The young man, who was in the US through the Work and Travel program, was not wearing a life jacket and could not swim. His friends reported him missing 15 minutes later and a search by police and firefighters found his body the next morning. Raul was a student at the University of Bucharest and worked intensively in the USA.
