Two young people from Gorj County, a 21-year-old man and his 17-year-old partner, are suspected of having sold their 3-week-old child for the sum of 7000 euros. The woman falsely stated that the man who bought the baby is the child's father, and with the money obtained, the two parents purchased a car. The investigation, conducted by DIICOT, targets crimes such as human trafficking and false declarations. The 47-year-old man suspected of buying the child has been detained, and the baby was found by the authorities. The young parents have received arrest warrants in absentia, as they are untraceable.
