Investigators announced that a 27-year-old young man, a Romanian and Moldovan citizen, has been detained for international drug trafficking. He was caught in the act by border police at the Albița border crossing while attempting to introduce over 100 grams of MUSCIMOL, a controlled substance, hidden in a bag. On Monday, prosecutors from the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism in Vaslui ordered his detention. On January 27, the judge for rights and freedoms at the Vaslui Tribunal was notified with a proposal for preventive arrest for 30 days, being accused of introducing, taking out of the country, and importing controlled substances without authorization.
