The accident occurred in August, when the young man ran a red light on an electric scooter and hit a 71-year-old woman who was crossing at the pedestrian crossing. The victim died four days after being hospitalized. The young man was placed under judicial control, and prosecutors emphasize the importance of respecting traffic rules to prevent such incidents, even though a driver's license is not required for scooters.
