ANM warns: Strong wind in several counties in Romania on Thursday and Friday

The National Meteorological Administration has issued yellow code warnings for intensifications of the wind, with speeds of 50–65 km/h, in the counties of Botoșani, Suceava, Iași, Neamț, Vaslui, Bacău, Galați, Vrancea, and Buzău. The warnings are valid on Thursday, between 10:00 and 21:00, and on Friday, between 06:00 and 21:00.

Additionally, until Saturday at 21:00, a meteorological advisory is in effect for the entire country, announcing periods of atmospheric instability, especially in the eastern half. These conditions will manifest through showers, electrical discharges, intensifications of the wind, and isolated hail. Rainfall amounts may reach 20–30 l/m², and in some areas even exceed 40–50 l/m².

The wind will have temporary intensifications, with speeds of 45–55 km/h in the eastern regions and locally in the western and central ones, while in the high mountain areas, speeds will reach 60–90 km/h.
