Meteorologists have issued a yellow code for heavy rains in Gorj and Mehedinți, valid until Sunday morning, with accumulations of 60-80 l/m².

From November 7, 10:00 AM to November 9, 10:00 AM, precipitation accumulations of 60-80 liters/m² are expected, especially in the mountains. Additionally, a weather warning targets Oltenia, the northwest of Muntenia, and the south of Banat, where extensive rains will be recorded, with water amounts of 25-30 liters/m², and isolated areas may exceed 40-50 liters/m². The wind will intensify in the southern massifs, with gusts of 70-80 km/h on the peaks and 50-60 km/h in the south of Banat, especially on Saturday. At altitudes above 1,700 meters in the Southern Carpathians, precipitation in the form of sleet and snow will be reported.
