The National Meteorological Administration issued a yellow code for fog and ice in 27 counties and Bucharest, with visibility below 50 meters in some areas.

The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) issued, on Saturday, nowcasting yellow warnings for snow and ice, valid in 27 counties in Romania, including the municipality of Bucharest. The warnings are active until 11:00 and concern the counties of Mehedinți, Caraș-Severin, Timiș, Alba, Cluj, Sibiu, Brașov, Mureș, Covasna, Brăila, Ialomița, Călărași, Giurgiu, Ilfov, Teleorman, Olt, Dolj, Constanța, Tulcea, Bacău, Botoșani, Suceava, Galați, Neamț, Vrancea, Iași, and Vaslui.

In these areas, snow will be reported, and visibility will be reduced, locally below 200 meters and isolated below 50 meters. This phenomenon may favor the formation of ice, and warnings for immediate dangerous phenomena are issued for a maximum period of six hours.
