The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) announced that starting Thursday at 12:00, a yellow code for atmospheric instability will be in effect in 15 counties and Bucharest, which will end at 02:00 at night. In Muntenia, Dobrogea, and southern Moldova, torrential downpours, electrical discharges, and wind intensifications are expected, with gusts of 50-70 km/h, and in restricted areas, storms and small hail may occur. The amounts of water will vary between 15-20 l/m², with possible isolated accumulations of over 30-40 l/m².
Additionally, an orange code will be in effect in Dâmbovița and Prahova between 12:00 and 17:00, where torrential downpours are estimated with water amounts of 30-40 l/m², and in hilly and mountainous areas, they may exceed 50-60 l/m². Specific manifestations of atmospheric instability will also be isolated in other regions of the country.
