Florin Manole, the Minister of Labor, stated that a working group has been formed with the aim of improving legislation for victims of human trafficking, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between political parties. Although non-governmental organizations have not yet been involved, the minister promised that they will be invited in the next stages. Manole acknowledged the debts of the Romanian state towards the victims and announced that he expects functional mechanisms for services and funding intended for them to be in place by the beginning of next year.
