The director of ANM, Elena Mateescu, stated that the beginning of winter will bring higher temperatures than usual, especially in the first week of December, when precipitation is also expected. Although the last winters have been the warmest since 1901, episodes of frost cannot be ruled out, with nighttime lows below -10°C, and snowfall, including in lowland areas. In the coming days, temperatures will reach values of up to 18°C, and fog will be a frequent phenomenon. Additionally, a deficit of precipitation is noted in the western part of the country, where drought persists. ANM will update the forecast for the first half of December on Friday.
