The weather forecast for the period August 12 to September 8 indicates above-season high temperatures in most parts of the country, with a shortage of precipitation, especially in mountainous regions. The first two weeks will bring near-normal temperatures in the east, but higher in the west. Also in the last weeks, temperatures will remain above average and precipitation will be scarce in the west and north-west but normal in the east. ECMWF estimates.
