Meteorologists have issued alerts for bad weather, announcing that until Thursday evening, Romania will be affected by extremely low temperatures, intensifying winds, and precipitation. The yellow code is valid in Oltenia, Dobrogea, Moldova, and Muntenia, where maximum temperatures will be between -8 and -4 degrees Celsius. The wind will reach speeds of 40-50 km/h, and at high altitudes, gusts will exceed 70-80 km/h, blizzarding the snowfall. In the southern and eastern regions, minimum temperatures will vary between -9 and -3 degrees. Mixed precipitation is also expected, with the formation of ice in certain areas. In Bucharest, the weather will be very cold on Tuesday, but it will warm up starting Wednesday. The National Meteorological Administration warns that a new episode of frost will affect the country starting Sunday.
