The announcement made by the parent company of the application, Snap, in September, to start charging users who have stored more than five gigabytes of images and videos previously shared as Memories, generated a strong reaction from users. Many consider these retro posts as a window to the past, accusing the company of 'corporate greed' in messages on social media and in negative reviews on Google and the Apple App Store.
