Minister of Development Cseke Attila Cseke discussed with local authorities an administrative reform package targeting their financial situation and decentralization. The proposals include suspending driving licenses for those who fail to pay fines within a year and making the deregistration of vehicles conditional on the payment of local debts. Other measures include restrictions on issuing building permits and social benefits for debt. The reforms are part of a second package of government financial measures.
