The Europol Union claims that dozens of police officers from the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) have not been compensated for hundreds of overtime hours worked during the large-scale operation conducted to capture the criminal Emil Gânj.

The main target of the grievances is Chief Commissioner Bogdan Roșiu, who, during a meeting, allegedly suggested repercussions for those who request payment for the hours. The Mureș County Police Inspectorate confirmed the existence of salary arrears and promised to re-evaluate the situation.
