The transaction has been cleared by the European Commission and UniCredit has agreed to acquire the Greek government's 9% stake in Alpha Bank. The integration process will also include a merger by absorption of Alpha Bank Romania into UniCredit Bank S.A. The change of ownership will not bring immediate changes for customers, who will be informed during the integration process.
