Two young people from Brașov have been sent to trial for promoting Nazism on social media.

Two young men from Brașov have been sent to trial for promoting Nazism on social media, according to the Prosecutor's Office next to the Brașov Tribunal.

The defendants, aged between 16 and 22, joined a fascist group, engaging in joint activities and promoting the ideology, both within the group and online, through posts on Instagram. They were identified with photographs in which they perform the Nazi salute and wear clothing with Nazi symbols. Following the investigations, five of the defendants were subjected to preventive measures, being investigated under house arrest or judicial control. The indictment has been sent to the Brașov Court for resolution.
