Two young people aged 16 and 18 have been arrested for smuggling high-risk drugs into the country, having been involved in a drug trafficking operation.

<p>The two youths are accused of smuggling a quantity of high-risk drugs hidden in a parcel into the country from the Netherlands on the basis of an order placed online. The minor was caught in flagrante delicto while taking the parcel containing the prohibited substances from a transportation company. The DIICOT prosecutors remanded them in custody for 30 days, and the investigation was carried out together with police officers from the Iasi Organized Crime Squad.
