Two students, a 17-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl, were transported to the hospital after being hit by a car on the pedestrian crossing in the municipality of Buzău.

The car was driven by a 44-year-old man from Buzău. Both were transported to the Buzău County Emergency Hospital, having contusions and fractures. The girl suffered a contusion of the right hemithorax and right hip, while the boy had a closed fracture of the left thigh. Currently, both victims are stable from a hemodynamic and respiratory standpoint, undergoing investigations. The police have opened a criminal case and continue the investigations to determine the circumstances of the accident.
