On Sunday, the Kamchatka Peninsula was rocked by two powerful earthquakes with magnitudes of 6.7 and 7.4, with epicenters in the Pacific Ocean, more than 130 kilometers from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatki. The earthquakes were localized at depths of about 10 km and triggered a tsunami warning. This region is known for its intense seismic activity, located between the Pacific and North American tectonic plates.
