Two children were hit by a train in the municipality of Mediaș, on Baia de Nisip street, prompting the rapid mobilization of intervention teams.

The Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) Sibiu reported that two SMURD teams were sent to the scene, one of which included a doctor, two ambulances from the County Ambulance Service (SAJ), and a fire truck.
