A tram of line 25 derailed on Preciziei Boulevard after being hit by a truck that was reversing.

The Bucharest Transport Company (STB) announced that a tram from line 25 derailed on Preciziei Boulevard on Wednesday evening after being hit by a truck that was reversing.

The incident occurred around 6:00 PM, but no casualties were reported. STB SA's intervention teams were quickly mobilized to put the tram back on the tracks and to clear the running path.

During the period when tram services were affected, STB established a shuttle line, line 625, which operated between the Militari Depot and Danny Huwe Square, to accommodate passengers.

Tram services on line 25 have resumed.
