An accident between two trams occurred on Monday in Bucharest, slightly injuring a minor, who was transported to the hospital.

On Monday, at 3:38 PM, the Traffic Brigade was alerted via 112 about a traffic accident at the intersection of Doina Cornea Boulevard and Independence Boulevard. According to preliminary investigations, a tram driven by a 58-year-old man collided with another tram traveling in the same direction.

As a result of the impact, a minor was slightly injured and was transported to the hospital for medical care. The two tram drivers were tested with a breathalyzer, the result being zero. The police have opened a criminal case to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
