A 45-year-old man lost his life in an electric scooter accident.

A 45-year-old man from the locality of Istria died on Sunday morning as a result of an accident that occurred on the bicycle path parallel to DJ 226, in the Midia area.

According to the initial investigations by the police from Năvodari, the man was riding an electric scooter on the specially designated path when he fell and hit his head. The call to 112 was registered around 6:45 AM, but the medical team that arrived at the scene could do nothing to save his life and had to declare him dead.

The lifeless body was transported to the morgue for an autopsy, and the police continue the investigation to determine the exact circumstances in which the accident occurred.
