The event, entitled 'Timisoara Cities Summit', is organized in partnership with Eurocities and will bring together delegations from nine countries, including the mayors of Budapest and Sofia. Mayor Dominic Fritz emphasized the importance of the European Union's expansion at the local level, highlighting Timisoara's strategic role in the geopolitical context. The Summit will address the collaboration with cities in Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova and the Western Balkans, with the aim of strengthening partnerships between local governments.
