The swimming competition for 10- and 11-year-olds at the Izvorani swimming pool was disrupted by a bomb threat, which turned out to be false. Organizers quickly evacuated all participants and rescheduled the competition for the following day. The incident was part of a series of actions designed to cause panic, according to the president of the Romanian Swimming and Modern Pentathlon Federation.
