The legislative project adopted by the Senate stipulates that border police and gendarmes can record their actions in public spaces with photo-audio-video equipment, without the consent of the persons involved. This includes the storage of various personal data and operational information. Additionally, the use of this data for purposes other than those for which it was collected is prohibited. The project was initiated by PNL deputies and was adopted with 112 votes in favor.
