As of August 14, 2025, the Romanian coast has 155,605 accommodation places, with an estimated occupancy rate of over 95% for the St. Mary's mini-holiday. Rates for accommodation vary, with the resorts of Eforie Nord, Mamaia and Costinești the most popular. Rural tourism and mountain resorts are enjoying increased demand, with attractive packages. However, transportation infrastructure remains a challenge, and seaside fares will drop by 15-20% after this weekend. FPTR emphasizes the need for long-term investment and planning to improve the tourist experience.
