During the General Assembly of the Romanian Academy, held on October 29, three full members and two corresponding members were elected by secret ballot. The elected full members are Ana Blandiana (Otilia-Valeria Rusan) from the Department of Philology and Literature, Nicolae-Ovidiu I. Badea from the Department of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences, and Wilhelm Dancă from the Department of Philosophy, Theology, Psychology, and Pedagogy. Additionally, Viorel Jinga from the Department of Medical Sciences and Luminița Chivu from the Department of Economic, Legal, and Sociological Sciences were elected as corresponding members. According to the Statute of the Romanian Academy, the title of academician is reserved exclusively for full members.
