In the commune of Sânger, Mureș County, a referendum for the dismissal of Mayor Vasile Grec recently took place, and the result showed that 52.2% of voters agreed with his removal from office, while 47.8% voted against.

The difference was only 50 votes, and the voter turnout was 65.23%, with 1,763 voters registered on the electoral rolls.
