Bucharest Alexeni International Airport, the first private airport in Romania, continues to advance in the preparatory works, despite the volatile global economic context. The project, developed by Avant Airports, aims to become the largest cargo hub in Eastern Europe. The Master Plan and pre-design documentation are nearly completed, and the project is now in the stage of preparing the urban planning documentation, which includes the development of the zoning plan and obtaining the necessary permits. The Swiss investor will bring additional expertise and resources for the realization of this ambitious project.
