During a meeting of the National Political Bureau, the Prime Minister and President of PNL, Ilie Bolojan, informed the party leaders that the budget is 99% complete. The main objective is to achieve a balanced budget, with a priority on increasing investments. Alexandru Nazare, the Minister of Finance, mentioned that the budget includes amounts for social measures requested by PSD, but not at the level desired by them.

A new round of negotiations in the Coalition is scheduled for Wednesday, when a final decision will be made. Bolojan emphasized the importance of avoiding previous situations, where the budget seemed favorable at first but deteriorated later. Nazare added that PNRR is a priority, with additional payments of 22 billion lei compared to last year. The budget will likely be approved next week in the Government and sent to Parliament.
