The Ministry of Energy announces that 17,428 consumers are still without power, on Sunday evening, out of a total of nearly 95,000 who were without power on Saturday morning, but the teams of operators continue to intervene on the ground.

"In the context of unfavorable weather conditions in the last two days, marked by yellow and orange codes for intensified winds, blizzards, heavy snowfall, and ice, damages have been recorded at the level of some electrical installations in the areas managed by the distribution operators Distribution Energy Electric from Romania, Distribution Oltenia, and Electrical Networks from Romania. As of January 3, at 06:00, the number of consumers without power nationwide was 94,668," the Ministry of Energy reported on Sunday evening.
