The mountain rescuers are conducting a search operation for three lost children in the ski area of Voineasa, in conditions of low temperatures and darkness.

On Saturday evening, the mountain rescuers from the Voineasa commune began a search operation for three children who got lost in the forested area to the right of the ski slope.

The National Mountain Rescue Dispatch announced that the intervention is taking place with the help of two snowmobiles and touring skis, with rescuers trying to cover as large an area as possible. The conditions are difficult, with very low temperatures and darkness, and the children are dressed only in regular ski clothes, which makes it harder for them to be found quickly. The operation is urgent, considering the risks associated with the cold weather.
