The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched the project 'Traffic Safety', which includes the integration of 700 cameras for automatic traffic monitoring, which will become operational in 2025. The project proposes to simplify the process of sanctioning violations, introduce the concept of average speed, and digitize interactions between drivers and authorities. Additionally, the validity of licenses will be correlated with medical evaluations, and local authorities will have the freedom to regulate lanes dedicated to public transport. The project is in public consultation to adapt the measures to the real needs of traffic.
