According to BNR data, the Ministry of Finance made a loan of one billion lei from banks on Wednesday, through a government bond issuance and a discount treasury certificate issuance. Of this amount, 500 million lei were obtained through bonds with a residual maturity of 92 months, having an average yield of 6.92% per year, with subscriptions of 1.292 billion lei. An additional auction is scheduled for Thursday to attract another 75 million lei.


Additionally, the Ministry of Finance borrowed 500 million lei through discount treasury certificates, with a maturity of 12 months and a yield of 6.14%, having subscriptions of 1.479 billion lei. In November 2025, the Ministry of Finance plans to borrow 6.8 billion lei, with an additional amount of 945 million lei, for the refinancing of public debts and financing the budget deficit. This total amount is 245 million lei lower than the schedule from October 2023.
