In a joint press conference with Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, the PSD Minister of Energy, Bogdan Ivan, announced that he will resign if his party decides to leave the Government. Ivan emphasized that he does not wish to create discord within the team and that he will act according to the decisions of his colleagues in the party.

Prime Minister Bolojan was asked about a possible mass resignation of PSD ministers and stated that Romania needs a stable Government, supported by a predictable majority. He emphasized his responsibility as Prime Minister and the importance of solid support from the Coalition. The final decision of the Social Democratic Party regarding Bolojan's support will be made on April 20, which will influence the political future of the Government.
