Daniel David, the Minister of Education, stated that there is no risk of the school year 2025-2026 being canceled due to protests from teachers dissatisfied with austerity measures. He emphasized that the measures adopted are intended to ensure salaries and scholarships, not to affect education. David explained that although the teaching norm has been increased from 18 to 20 hours per week, salaries will not be affected, but incomes may decrease due to changes in hourly pay.
