The Romanian government will not discuss today the reduction of taxes and fees, including the reform of military pensions, due to the lack of necessary approvals. However, a last-minute solution has been found for reducing taxes for people with disabilities, which will be integrated into another ordinance on the agenda of Friday's meeting. The tax reduction is expected to be 50% for people with severe disabilities, while those with accentuated disabilities will benefit from a 25% reduction. Additionally, homeowners of houses older than 50 years will benefit from reductions. However, people with disabilities who own expensive houses and cars will not benefit from these reductions, nor will owners of cars with engines over 2000 cm3 (2.0 liters).

Those who have already paid the taxes can request a refund. Other important projects, such as the ban on the accumulation of pension-salary and the reform of military pensions, remain pending, without being included on the agenda. The Prime Minister has promised reforms, but no consensus has been reached in the Coalition, and the retirement age for police officers and military personnel must reach 65 years by 2031.
