The included localities are Chișcani (Brăila), Valea Salciei (Buzău), Jucu (Cluj), Călărași, Padeș (Gorj), Șelimbăr (Sibiu), Șărmășag (Sălaj), Broșteni (Suceava), Negrilești (Vrancea) and Pietrari (Vâlcea). This measure will allow localities to attract non-reimbursable funding for tourism, technical, and environmental protection infrastructure projects. The Ministry of Development emphasized that tourist resources contribute to economic development, job creation, and the promotion of local identity. The approved normative act complements an existing ordinance that regulates localities with tourism potential.
