The Free Trade Union Federation in Education (FSLI), the 'SPIRU HARET' Education Trade Union Federation, and the National Trade Union Federation 'ALMA MATER' have decided not to participate in the scheduled discussions at the Ministry of Labor regarding the salary law.

The unions believe that the current draft law flagrantly violates the commitments made by the Government after the general strike in 2023.

Union leaders, Simion Hăncescu, Marius Nistor, and Anton Hadăr, state that their participation would legitimize a mere image exercise, without real solutions for education issues. They emphasize that the Government does not prioritize education and that the current draft does not reflect the importance of work in education.

The unions urge parliament to choose between rejecting this project or promoting a law that correctly recognizes the contribution of employees in education.
