The DSU has taken notice after the appearance of some images with an ambulance crew from Bacău that allegedly stopped for shopping during the transport of a patient.

The Department for Emergency Situations (DSU) announced that it has taken notice following some images that appeared on the internet, in which a crew from the Bacău County Ambulance Service allegedly stopped to do shopping while transporting a patient.

DSU will send an inspection team to verify the circumstances of the incident and to determine whether professional obligations and operational procedures were respected. The control aims to establish the exact situation and, depending on the conclusions obtained, appropriate measures will be taken.

DSU emphasizes the importance of adhering to legal and professional standards in the activities of emergency services, considering the impact on patient safety and citizens' trust in these services.
