The Drăgășani City Hall announced on Facebook that the city is preparing to ban gambling halls, wanting to become the second city in the region, after Slatina, free of slot machines. The local administration emphasizes that this measure is essential for protecting the future of children, arguing that gambling halls should not be located near schools or parks.

Additionally, the city hall also aims to promote the development of local businesses, such as cafes and bookstores, which contribute positively to the community, in contrast to the negative effects of gambling on society.
